About Us
Our Mission
The goal of PsyConOps Publishing is to provide insightful and thought provoking books that address the fears and anxieties that prevent us from following our passions. There are always inherent risk in everything we do, especially when we move outside of our comfort zones. Our books invite the reader to explore their relationships with others, their life values and philosophies, and the grand world that surrounds them. Whether it’s through divorce, the loss of a loved one, or a conscious decision to take an alternate path, the lessons you'll learn along the way will far surpass any risks, pains, and anxieties that had to be endured.
Joseph W. Foster
Joe has had a passion for travel his entire life. He’s an author and a scientist but most of all, an experienced adventurer. He’s hiked, sailed, and flown all over the world; searching for unique, off-the-beaten-track places to explore. Joe’s a certified Divemaster, an FAA-licensed Pilot, and a USCG-licensed Boat Captain. Whether it’s sailing an open sea or climbing a mountain, he’s always explored his physical and emotional limits. He’s trained new scuba divers, teaching them how to combat the anxieties that sap their strength and endurance. As a flight engineer, he’s tested new aircraft technologies during high speed flight, in low altitude, mountainous terrain. He’s also faced long periods of isolation and extreme fatigue while solo sailing long distances, battling extreme weather conditions and critical gear failures.
